Inspection register (equipment logbook)
Keuringsregister (inspectielogboek)
An overview (digital or paper) in which the results of periodic NEN 3140 inspections are recorded per item of equipment or installation part: date, inspector, findings, risk classification and next inspection due date. Together with the inspection sticker, it provides demonstrable evidence of a structured inspection programme.
Practical example
Bij een arbeidsinspectie-controle toont het bedrijf het digitale keuringsregister waaruit blijkt dat alle handgereedschappen binnen de gestelde herkeuringstermijn zijn geïnspecteerd.
Common mistake
Alleen de keuringssticker op het apparaat plakken zonder de bijbehorende bevindingen in het register vast te leggen — zonder onderliggende data is niet aantoonbaar wélke afkeurcriteria zijn beoordeeld.
