KEMA-KEUR

Also known as: kema, kema-keur, nlev

Independent Dutch certification mark issued by DEKRA/KEMA following independent product testing according to IEC/NEN. Provides greater assurance than CE alone and is often required by insurers and grid operators.

Practical example

An installation company deliberately selects components with KEMA-KEUR, as the insurer explicitly requires this mark for a new industrial installation.

Common mistake

Assuming every CE-marked product is KEMA-certified — KEMA-KEUR is an additional, independent certification not automatically included with CE.
