TN-C-S stelsel
TN-C-S system: N and PE conductors run as a single PEN outside, then split inside. Common in Dutch residential installations.
Practical example
TN-C-S system. A typical Dutch single-family home receives a PEN conductor from the DSO, split in the meter box into N and PE for the rest of the installation.
Common mistake
TN-C-S system: After the split point, do not let the PEN function continue by reconnecting N and PE further downstream — this may energize equipment enclosures.
