Also known as: spd, surge, surge-protector, overvoltage, overvoltage-protection, surge-protection, spd-type-2, surge-arrester-type-2, overspanningsbegrenzer, spd-coordinatie, spd-installatiepunt, spd-klasse-1-2, bliksembeveiliging-spd
Protects the installation against temporary voltage spikes from lightning strikes or switching operations. Type 1 (lightning current), Type 2 (voltage surge at distribution board), Type 3 (sensitive end equipment).
