Grouping Factor (Cable Bundling)
Correction factor Ca (sometimes called Cg) from NEN-EN-IEC 60364-5-52 that reduces the permissible current-carrying capacity of a cable as more cables are laid close together (in the same tray, conduit or bundle), because mutual heat dissipation impedes cooling. The factor depends on the number of circuits and the installation method and is multiplied by the base ampacity from the reference tables.
