Standard color codes — brown = L1, black = L2, grey = L3, blue = N, yellow/green = PE. Old installations use red/white/green — always check during renovation.
Practical example
Conductor colors: When connecting a new socket, brown to L, blue to N, and yellow/green to PE per standard coding.
Common mistake
Conductor colors Common mistake: Using yellow/green for a function other than PE — forbidden, even if the conductor is not connected as PE.
