D0 Fuse (SV System)
A compact, touch-safe fuse-cartridge system (also known as the SV system or D0 system) developed as the successor to the Neozed system, with a fully enclosed cartridge holder so that the live part is not accessible when the cartridge is changed. In the Netherlands, D0 fuses are widely used as the main fuse in meter cupboards (between the grid operator's connection and the customer's own installation) due to their touch-safety and smaller dimensions compared with the older D-system (Diazed) and Neozed. As with Neozed, the cartridge coding (colour/diameter) prevents an oversized fuse from physically fitting the wrong holder.
Bij het vervangen van een verouderde hoofdaansluiting kiest de netbeheerder voor een D0-hoofdzekering van 3x25A, omdat deze zonder gereedschap aanraakveilig kan worden verwisseld door de eindgebruiker in tegenstelling tot een oudere Diazed-uitvoering.
Een D0-patroon proberen te vervangen door een fysiek gelijkende maar verkeerd gewaardeerde patroon uit een ander systeem te forceren — de patroonafmetingen zijn met opzet niet compatibel tussen D0, Neozed en Diazed om verkeerd gebruik te voorkomen.
