PELV
PELV (Protective Extra Low Voltage)
Also known as: pelv, isolation-transformer, transformator, isolatietransformator, scheidingstransformator, transformer, safety-transformer
Protective Extra-Low Voltage (PELV): Protective extra-low voltage ≤50 V AC / 120 V DC with reference point earthing. Differs from SELV as accessible metal parts may be connected to PE. Used in tools and signalling circuits.
