Maximum Pulling Tension (Cable Installation)
The maximum permissible pulling tension specified by the cable manufacturer that may be applied to the conductors (via a pulling sock or eye) while drawing a cable into a duct, tray or conduit, without internally damaging the cores, insulation or conductor connections. It depends on the conductor material (copper/aluminium), the cross-section and the number of cores; at bends, the maximum sidewall pressure must also be taken into account.
