Connection capacity / contracted power

The connection capacity is the maximum current or power the grid connection can technically deliver (set by the main fuse, e.g. 3x25A or 3x80A); the contracted power (contracted transport capacity) is the maximum off-take or feed-in limit agreed with the grid operator. NEN 1010 §132.6 requires the installation design to account for this limit, including diversity factor and future extensions such as EV chargers or heat pumps.
Practical example
Bij het ontwerp van een nieuwbouwwoning met warmtepomp en EV-laadpunt wordt vooraf bij de netbeheerder de aansluitwaarde gecontroleerd, zodat de hoofdzekering en gelijktijdigheidsfactor niet structureel worden overschreden.
