Fire-Resistant Cable (PH Classification)
A cable that keeps performing its electrical function for a defined time (e.g. PH30, PH60, PH90 minutes) during and after exposure to fire, tested to NEN-EN 50200. This is a different concept from the reaction-to-fire euroclass (e.g. B2ca): circuit integrity is about the cable itself continuing to work, and is required for critical circuits such as emergency lighting, fire alarm systems, smoke extraction fans, and lift facilities during a fire.
