Dynamic load management (EV charging)
A control system that continuously monitors the available capacity of a connection and redistributes or scales back the charging power of multiple EV charge points in real time, so the total load never exceeds the contractually available connection capacity. This allows several charge points to be connected to an existing, limited supply without overloading the main fuse or main switch, and without requiring an expensive reinforced grid connection. Under NEN 1010-7-722, load management may be taken into account when determining the diversity factor, provided the system demonstrably and reliably adjusts within the required time.
