Shore Power (Marina Supply)
The fixed electrical facility that connects vessels in a marina to the public low-voltage grid via a socket-outlet on the pontoon. NEN 1010 chapter 709 sets additional requirements for this wet, corrosion-prone and publicly accessible environment: every connection must have its own 30 mA RCD, socket-outlets must be at least IP44 (often IP56 due to spray and wave action), and a separate final circuit per berth is strongly recommended to limit mutual interference and galvanic corrosion between vessels via the earth connection.
