Mobile or Transportable Unit — Electrical Provisions (§717)
A special provision in NEN 1010 §717 for electrical installations in mobile or transportable units (site cabins, mobile workshops, transportable emergency-power containers, food trucks) that are connected to the mains at different locations. Because the unit is connected to a different, not pre-known installation each time, the unit's own internal PE bar must be reliably continued through the supply point to the earthing of the external installation, and the unit must carry its own main RCD because the external installation cannot be assumed to already provide adequate RCD protection.
Bij het aansluiten van een mobiele bouwkeuken op een bouwplaats controleert de VP eerst of de PE-doorverbinding van het aansluitpunt intact is en test daarna de eigen 30mA-hoofdaardlekschakelaar van de keuken met de testknop, conform NEN 1010 §717.
Aannemen dat de externe installatie waarop een mobiele eenheid wordt aangesloten altijd adequate aardlekbeveiliging heeft en daarom de eigen aardlekschakelaar van de eenheid als overbodig beschouwen — bij een onbekende of gebrekkige externe installatie ontbreekt dan iedere aardlekbeveiliging.
