Temporary Installation — Exhibitions, Shows and Fairground Attractions (§711)
A special provision in NEN 1010 §711 for temporary electrical installations at exhibitions, trade fairs, stands and fairground attractions, distinct from the construction-site provision (§704) because the public — including children — has free access to the vicinity of the installation. Every circuit for a stand or attraction must therefore have RCD protection (IΔn ≤ 30 mA), cables must be mechanically protected or routed outside walkways, and the installation must be visually inspected daily before opening by a skilled person, given the frequent build-up/tear-down and the increased risk of mechanical damage.
Bij de opbouw van een beursstand controleert de standbouwer vóór openingstijd dagelijks visueel alle kabels en verdeelkasten op mechanische schade, conform de dagelijkse inspectieplicht van NEN 1010 §711.
Een kermisattractie op dezelfde manier behandelen als een vaste installatie en alleen bij oplevering één keer keuren — §711 vereist een dagelijkse visuele controle vóór openstelling, juist omdat de installatie telkens opnieuw wordt op- en afgebouwd.
