Caravan/Camping Site — Supply Point (§708)
A special provision in NEN 1010 §708 for electrical supplies on caravan and camping sites: each supply point for an individual pitch must have its own RCD protection (IΔn ≤ 30 mA), may supply at most one caravan/motorhome per socket-outlet, and the socket equipment must be moisture- and dust-protected (typically at least IP44) given exposure to weather and frequent connection/disconnection by users without electrical training. Each supply point also has its own overcurrent protection, so a fault on one pitch does not take out the neighbours.
Bij de aanleg van een nieuw kampeerterrein plaatst de installateur per standplaats een IP44-zuil met eigen 16A-groepsautomaat en eigen 30mA-aardlekschakelaar, zodat een lekstroom bij één caravan niet de stroom van de buurstandplaats uitschakelt.
Meerdere standplaatsen via één gedeelde aardlekschakelaar en groepsautomaat voeden om kosten te besparen — bij een fout op één caravan vallen dan meerdere standplaatsen tegelijk uit, en wordt bovendien niet voldaan aan de §708-eis van een eigen aansluitpunt per standplaats.
